Working for a Bold.org Scholarship

Here is the link to my profile on Bold.org:

You can sign up using the link above too! *I highly recommend signing up, they have a ton of no-essay scholarships you can sign up for that take NO effort. *

I plan on going to college with the most financial aid I can achieve, and coming from a low-mid-income house, scholarships are a must. Since it is my senior year of high school, I figured I should start now in my search for scholarships. I have already achieved a few scholarships from the college I plan on attending, but it is not enough to get me through college. With that said, I saw a ton of ads for Bold.org, and I decided to sign up.

That was a great decision, and I have already applied for 29 scholarships (most of those were honestly no-essay scholarships) in the past few weeks. That is right, 29 scholarships (ranging from $500-$25,000) in 3 weeks. While I have not earned any scholarships yet, it is simply because the scholarship deadlines have not passed yet. I have also already passed 15th place (in Bold Points) in the state of Oklahoma, and I'm 3rd for those achieving associate classes. It was pretty easy for me to reach that number of points by applying for scholarships, inviting friends, and other super easy tasks.

My pursuit of a good education, which starts with scholarships, all started when I realized I could not get through college without some debt unless I started now. While applying for the "big money" scholarships takes quite a bit of time and effort, I think the effort is worth it in the long run. Though I have not directly applied to those types of scholarships yet, I have surprisingly found quite a few I qualify for. I have already started writing essays for quite a few of those, and I'm sure that I will be able to find many more of these great opportunities as time passes. I look forward to what my continuance in my scholarship pursuit will bring!
